Exercises you can do at home, no equipment required!

If you don't have any gym equipment at home you can still do an amazing full body workout.  Here are a few of my favorites! Add in cardio like running, climbing stairs, jumping rope and you have a complete workout!
Calf raises, standing on the floor or on a stair. 

Lunges - Alternate stepping forward, lower front leg until thigh is parallel to the floor, do not let front knee pass the toes. 

Pushups - from the knees or toes, hands wider than shoulder width apart lower until arms are bent 90 degrees. 

Side plank - can also be done from the knees and on elbows, great for the obliques. 

Squats - lower with bum out and back until thighs are parallel to the floor, hold or pulse up and down, knees should not pass the toes.  To make it more challenging put a soccer ball between your knees. 



Tricep Dips - can be done on a sturdy coffee table or chair as well. Keep back straight, lower until arms are at 90 degrees. 
Plank - Can be done from knees and elbows, hands and toes, keep back straight and to make it more challenging  lift one foot. 

Wall pushups - great way to progress to a push up on the floor.
